Project Selection for STIP Funding
CCOG reviews potential transportation projects within Calaveras County and identifies those that are eligible and best aligned with regional priorities for inclusion in the RTIP. Projects are considered based on factors such as regional significance, project readiness, funding eligibility, safety, mobility, and consistency with the Regional Transportation Plan.
Selected projects are then nominated for available STIP funding through the RTIP process and submitted to the California Transportation Commission for consideration.
